Lympstone Village station is situated on a regional trainline and direct links from London Paddington to Exeter and many other major routes allow you to leave the car at home if you wish and let the train take the strain.
On leaving the train at Lympstone Village just walk down the hill, turn right and 200 metres later when you reach the Globe Inn on your left, take the next passageway next to Strand House, immediately on your right and Shoestring Cottage is the last property on your right right on the water's edge.

Motorway Access
Just 5 miles from M5 junction 30, Lympstone Village is easy to reach by car, take the A376 to Exmouth and after 4 miles turn right into Lympstone Village at the traffic lights before the Saddlers Arms. Continue for approximately 1 mile along Longmeadow road, past the church on your right until you come to the Swan Inn on your right and then the Globe Inn on your left. Shoestring is then down a small passageway next to Strand House. You can unload with caution by the side of the road and then take your car to the carpark on Underhill which you will find by going back to the Swan Inn and turning right onto Chapel Street and then left onto Underhill and the long stay is on your left under the bridge.

Situated on route 2 of the national cycle path and the 26 mile Exe Estuary Trail, Lympstone Village is perfectly located for cycling enthusiasts to explore the local countryside and extended routes.
Use the local rail network to explore further afield and return back to the village to relax and take in the amazing views.
