A full Risk Assessment, including Covid-19 requirements,  has been completed and is available in the cottage manual for your reference. 

Fire extinguishers and fire blankets are on hand should you ever, unfortunately require them, together with a fully equipped first aid kit.

We abide by and follow all "Professional Association of Self Caterers" and Government guidelines, with regards to keeping our lovely cottage clean and safe for every guest to enjoy. ShoeString Cottage and Cabin is uniquely situated on the foreshore in Lympstone. Please don't be concerned when the tide comes in and washes up against the outside wall, its all part of its amazing heritage and charm. The cottage has been there since mid 1700's. When the tides are very high a flood gate warden will come and close the gates by the wall, this is all absolutely normal.

Do please make sure all children and dogs are safe at high tides.
